I\'m a strategic People leader with a background in Data Analytics and Product Management prior to becoming a chief people officer. Most recently I served as chief people officer for Opencast, supporting rapid growth. Our inclusive culture and people practices attracted great people to the organization, high retention and we received recognition of our work via a number of awards and feedback from our people. I\'m an advocate for building deliberately developmental organisations that put skill development at the heart of their purpose. I champion creating supportive, empowering cultures that enable people to grow and develop as people as well as professionals. I am passionate about how the setup and operating model of people teams can support inclusive culture that harnesses people’s potential and enables innovation and creativity. I am highly motivated by work that has a positive social impact and have experience of embedding purpose into strategy and leading BCorp accreditation. I believe that one of the biggest social impact levers any organisation has is to build their employees’ skills, and have worked in close partnership with Skills Builder Partnership to champion the building of Essential Skills in the North East of England.
