Cate started Cate Black Photography in 2007 after graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California where she was classically trained in film and digital photography, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography for Commercial Advertising.Cate Black Photography has since established their headquarters in Austin, Texas and recently celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2017.CBP is a Christian-based organization that specializes in architectural photography, working with builders, architects and designers. In January 2018 Cate launched a new service to the Austin market exclusively for custom architectural vendors: product photography within an architectural space.
