ABOUT CATARINA BELÉM
Hi! My name is Catarina Belém and I am currently a Research Data Scientist at Feedzai in the Ethics and AI group. There, I\'m able to research and explore techniques that leverage the application of AI in a fairer, more robust and transparent manner. Before that, I have completed my MSc degree at Instituto Superior Técnico, having specialized in Intelligent Systems and Distributed Systems. During this time, I was a teaching assistant of the Advanced Programming Course (Spring 2017/2018 and Spring 2018/2019). The passion for teaching led me to accept the invitation by the TreeTree2 organization to be a mentor of a young 14-years old girl. This project consists in advising and accompanying her in the accomplishment of a self-paced project in Computer Science. My passions include languages (both programming languages and natural languages), electronics, mathematics, and cooking! They all have at least one thing in common: based on algorithms :b
