I’m a passionate public health student with a focus on healthcare administration, community health, and health equity. My academic and professional journey has been driven by a deep commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved communities, especially low-income immigrant families. As a Latina woman, I’m especially motivated to bring more cultural awareness and inclusivity into the healthcare system. Currently, I’m looking to gain more experience in healthcare administration, nonprofit operations, and culturally competent care.    Support first-generation college students in their transition to university life by fostering a sense of belonging, academic confidence, and community within the LEAD Scholars Program. Plan and lead engaging workshops, presentations, and classroom activities that promote student participation and connection. Serve as a trusted mentor by offering guidance on academic resources, coursework, and strategies for navigating higher education as a first-gen student.
