ABOUT CATALINA NIÑO CORDERO
Through my experience with Hispanic communities in the US and Latin America, I have learned that development, sustainability, peace and health emerge from creative, supportive and equitable environments. Because of my passion for the intersection between the arts, feminism, and education, my goal is to continue to develop initiatives in that enrich multicultural and inclusive environments where all individuals and communities can develop their capacities and thrive. I am a senior interdisciplinary professional knowledgeable in designing, conducting, evaluating, and advising projects in areas such as individuals, families, and community initiatives focused on arts, peace, and wellness. My background includes a versatile set of expertise: behavioral changes counselor, community workshop facilitator, higher education instructor, supervisor of undergraduate internships and research projects, student advisor, social project coordinator, creative writer, and cultural worker.
