I am a creative multi-hypenate. I have maintained an active writing and art practice for over twenty years while also working in music and small press publishing as a publicist, film / television production with directors like Kelly Reichart and Gus Van Sant and directed music videos and commercials that aired on MTV and LOGO.I have written copy for commercial pitches and worked in post production for documentaries and reality tv as well as acted as an archival producer for TV One. I taught writing and literature at various colleges including the School of Visual Arts for several years and occasionally lead creative writing workshops that utilize the tarot as a divining tool. I have performed and exhibited my work internationally and have curated and organized events in DIY spaces all over the country as well as institutional spaces that include The Poetry Project. Recess, MOMA PS1 and the Brooklyn Museum. In addition, I’ve published three chapbooks of prose and have placed poetry in several literary journals. I’m based in NYC/Hudson, NY.
