Work alongside local rehabbers and organizations in Tampa Bay to answer calls rescuing a variety of wildlife, including birds and small mammals. Responsibilities include solo and team capturing and treatment of these animals with assistance from Birds in Helping Hands, Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, and the Eckerd College Wildlife Rescue team. Other responsibilities include training new club members in the proper handling of these species.

ABOUT CAT ESTELLE
I am an anthropology undergraduate at Eckerd College with a particular interest in the human-nature relationship and how cultural history influences environmental community decisions. This includes sustainable development, ethical tourism, and preservation of cultural heritage. I’m also committed to diversifying the sciences and making knowledge more accessible to marginalized communities, ensuring education is shared rather than withheld.
