About Cassie Welker
Hi, I’m Cassie! I am currently a senior at Arizona State University, pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing and Design Studies. My passion encompasses all facets of marketing, and I am eager to gain hands-on experience in various areas. With a deep curiosity and commitment to learning, I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can explore and contribute to different marketing initiatives. This past year, I was a Marketing Intern for the Arizona Diamondbacks, where I assisted with Meta, Portal, and display ads & campaigns, website updates, crafted compelling copy targeting various audiences, managed Student Pass emails, tracked proof of performance, and created recaps of marketing efforts for corporate partners. My experience spans multiple industries, including nonprofit, food, cosmetics, and fashion, with a recent focus on the sports sector. I previously served as the VP of Marketing and Director of Media for the Women’s Business Leaders Association at ASU, where I managed a marketing and social media team and spearheaded the club’s marketing strategies. Additionally, I worked as an Account Manager for adworks, ASU’s student-run advertising agency, leading a team to execute project briefs for agency partners. These roles have provided me with valuable insights into marketing leadership and team management. Outside of my professional endeavors, I manage social media for three small businesses in the East Valley and have a strong passion for photography. Through this work, I have honed my skills in content creation, audience engagement, and brand storytelling. Managing multiple accounts has enhanced my ability to develop tailored marketing strategies and deliver consistent, impactful messages across different platforms. These experiences have further solidified my understanding of social media dynamics and their critical role in successful marketing campaigns.
