Provide administrative support to the Group Sales, Convention Sales, and Sports divisions including: bid package preparation, tradeshow follow-up, local site visit itineraries & other tasks as needed-Coordinate with the Marketing division to create promotional pieces & programs to establish & maintain awareness of Omaha in the local market-Update all sales kits & collateral with the most up-to-date information-Coordinate registration, order supplies, coordinate shipping of materials & create marketing description for registration materials-Coordinate creation of marketing materials for industry trade shows, sales missions & client events-Create & update new contact/account information in the CRM after trade shows, including any follow-up of collateral information-Coordinate databases to assist the sales team in preparing direct mail & e-marketing lists-Maintain & ensure timely input in OCVB’s CRM system-Create concept & manage the creative process for all in-house marketing materials such as pre-show direct mail pieces, sales PowerPoint presentations & event invitations working in conjunction with the sales team-Review industry trade publications monthly & inform the Marketing division about any piece that mentions the destination or partners-Coordinate company-wide events as member of 5 person activities committee – orchestrate logistics, manage budgets & ensure successful execution of events such as potlucks, employee appreciation days, community service days, etc.
