Over 10 years of experience in software, with a passion for evangelizing great test engineering. I\'ve Toast I\'ve taken two Scrum Teams from zero test automation to > 80% in less than a year, including REST and GRPC APIs, Playwright UI testing and Gatling Performance Testing.Before that, I spent seven years at Salesforce, building a best-in-class Ruby/Cucumber/Selenium framework - object-oriented, cross-browser, modular, extensible, scalable - with thousands of tests. I built my career in quality engineering for highly regulated industries, where a single failed federal inspection might shut down your product (or business) entirely. I\'ve automated test cases for a SaaS product used to manage clinical trials (FDA regulated). I\'ve led testing for major releases of an onboard computing product used to manage Hours of Service for commercial truck drivers (DOT regulated).I have been fortunate to work fully remote for many years.
