Community has always been at the center of my work and my life.After more than a decade in retail and experience in commercial property management, I joined the North Platte Area Chamber & Development Corporation in 2018, where I discovered that economic development is really about relationships — listening to business owners, supporting new ideas, and helping people see what is possible for their community. For the past 7.5 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside partners, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and local leaders to help North Platte grow while preserving what makes it special.I believe the strongest communities are built by people who show up. That belief has led me to serve on multiple nonprofit, education, and civic boards — currently nine volunteer organizations — contributing wherever I can to help strengthen opportunities for families, businesses, and future generations. Whether through leadership roles, school involvement, or community initiatives, volunteering allows me to stay connected to the real experiences and needs of the people we serve.The spirit of the North Platte Canteen deeply influences how I approach both my career and volunteer service: welcoming others, working together, and giving without expecting recognition. That legacy reminds me that small acts of commitment, repeated over time, can shape an entire community.As a lifelong North Platte resident, I am passionate about helping our community continue to evolve — honoring our history while building momentum for the future. I am proud to be part of the work that helps people invest, belong, and thrive here.
