ABOUT CASSIE KNIGHT
As a Federal Benefits Specialist, I created Fed Options, LLC to administer excellent back-office federal benefit support to seasoned financial professionals who are looking to optimize the service provided to their federal employee community. My journey started as an independent insurance professional when I took a federal benefits course to help me coordinate the federal benefits with insurance planning in my own community. As the spouse of a once federal employee with several other family and friends that are federal employees, this course taught me how many federal benefits were misunderstood while in service and especially in retirement. That\'s when I made it my personal mission to help employees understand the consequences of their federal benefit choices. With that mission, I then partnered with a company to empower their advisors to be the rockstars of their meetings with the federal employees. Since I have a knack for being able to simplify complicated situations, the experience of learning what federal employees need, helping advisors seemed to be the no-brainer solution to continue the mission. Now I\'m excited that I can continue my mission and offer support to all advisors who work with federal employees. Through my faith in God and the support of my family, friends, and associates I\'m excited to see what the future brings. At times it can be a struggle to juggle, and that\'s what it\'s all about!
