About Cassie Bennett

Hello, thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I graduated from Mississippi State University for my BS in Biological Engineering and then the University of Miami (UM) where I earned my doctorate degree in Biomedical Engineering.At UM, I worked closely with project management, team leadership, and complex problem solving. I developed a multitude of technical skills during my time in a laboratory environment, the ability to communicate these skills’ outcomes through written (three first-author, one second-author, and three contributing author publications) and verbal forms (10+ poster presentations), and the discipline that it has taken to get thus far. I continue to strive to communicate, build relationships, and collaborate effectively on science-related content. I understand the discipline and determination necessary for science and engineering rigor, and I learn quickly and adapt and grow accordingly.At ZEO ScientifiX, I led quality assurance and quality control teams and improved the QMS for the small yet formidable Biotech company. I am growing now even more in industry as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, implementing the skills I have developed. I love being a leader, and I am particularly fond of writing, editing, researching, and collaborating. I am excited to continue to apply my skills in a biotech environment to achieve overall success for the company!
