ABOUT CASSI NICHOLS

I am a dedicated professional with a robust background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2015. Upon graduation, I transitioned into the field of ABA as an ABA Therapist, where I provided 1:1 support to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This experience ignited my passion for the field and motivated me to pursue a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.In May 2017, I earned my Master of Arts in ABA from Ball State University, and I became a BCBA in August 2018. My career has afforded me a diverse range of roles, including training, overseeing caseloads as a BCBA, and establishing two centers for my current employer. As a Clinical Director, I honed my leadership abilities and mentored other BCBAs, supervision students, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). I also serve on the Behavior Treatment Committee, which emphasizes collaboration, ethical treatment, and innovative programming.In recent years, my focus has shifted toward operations and recruitment within the ABA field. As Senior Recruiter, I leverage my clinical background to connect with professionals seeking clinical roles and build partnerships with academic institutions. In addition, I previously served as the ACE Coordinator for my current employer. I recently earned a graduate certificate in Organizational Behavior Management, with the aim of enhancing employee experience, morale, and retention for clinical staff in the ABA field.I am committed to advancing the field of ABA through effective recruitment, professional development, and operational excellence.
