ABOUT CASSEE GER
In my personal time, I love reading nerdy fantasy books and being outside, paddleboarding, glamping, roaming around on a bike, sitting around a campfire, and even playing video games. Along with my human family, I have a dog and a rescue cat. I am a total lover of all animals. When I am not doing any of those things, I enjoy doing cool HR things. Yes, human resources can be cool. You just need the right people to make it happen. HR is all about the experiences, the challenges, and, of course, the outrageous stories you gain along the journey- I am a little bit of an HR nerd and love working in that \"grey\" area. My background is mostly in the government-contracting environment, but my experience has allowed me to diversify that experience and expand into tech, private, commercial, and non-profit employers. I have experience in many of the HR competencies areas such HR management, benefits, compensation, employee relations, policy, onboarding, procedure, training, federal and state laws. Additionally, I\'ve worked with SCA/SCLS, exempt, non-exempt, Union, CONUS, and OCONUS employees. I\'ve used many HRIS/Benefits/ATS systems like Paycor, Paylocity, ADP, Ultipro, Taleo, Newton, Bamboo, Unanet, Gusto, Zenefits, Rippling, Employee Navigator, Namely, iSolved, and Paychex to name a few.
