Zoologist, wildlife educator, and ethical expedition leader with 7+ years of experience in animal care, conservation education, and community-based wildlife outreach. I design and lead international wildlife expeditions and field-based courses, giving learners hands-on study-abroad experiences grounded in real conservation work and ecological understanding.My fieldwork spans sea turtle conservation, coral restoration, elephant welfare, primate ecology, freshwater species, and rainforest biodiversity, collaborating closely with local NGOs and community-based conservation programs. I specialize in conservation psychology, positive-reinforcement training, animal behavior, and ethical wildlife tourism, ensuring that every program prioritizes animal welfare, cultural respect, and ecological sustainability.As part of my graduate work in Miami University’s Project Dragonfly program, I am completing a master’s thesis focused on normalizing empathy for uncharismatic fauna—from insects and freshwater mussels to misunderstood mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. My research explores how strategic storytelling, curriculum design, and hands-on learning experiences can shift public attitudes and improve human–wildlife coexistence.Alongside my fieldwork and teaching, I dedicate my social media platform @casanimaladventures to conservation education. As a science communicator and educational content creator, I produce accessible, empathy-driven wildlife content that focuses on conservation literacy, ethical encounters, and reframing public perceptions of overlooked or misunderstood species.In addition to leading my own expeditions and courses, I mentor and support other leaders and creators, helping them design and host ethical wildlife programs through trip development, conservation alignment, and participant experience planning.My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD in wildlife conservation and continue building sustainable, science-based pathways for human–wildlife coexistence—both in the field and through public education.

   As a Field Educator at the Ohio River Foundation, I lead immersive, hands-on educational experiences for K-12 students in the greater Cincinnati area, focusing on biodiversity, earth science, and watershed ecology. My role involves conducting field trips and classroom programs, managing educational equipment, and coordinating restoration projects like invasive species removal and native plantings. With a strong background in biology and a passion for environmental education, I work independently and collaboratively to inspire the next generation to connect with nature and make a positive impact on our environment.
