About Cassandra Caswell-Stirling

Author, The Deep Space Between, an urban fantasy novel, and Development Editor - the ultimate lover of words and language. I love language – how it is used and how the form of expression determines what is conveyed to the audience. Going further, I like figuring out how to effectively communicate to any audience on any topic, from a smaller text or banner ad to a longer published text. Throughout my career, I have done just that by focusing on roles where words, and how they are put together, formed the basis for success. Whether it was improving sentence structure and grammar in publishing works, changing keywords and ad text for paid ads and display banners, or finding the most effective way to get the main point across in any marketing or published work, I have broadened my communications toolbox, driving success for authors and marketing clients alike. I have 6 years’ experience in copy editing in law, anthropology and history books, plus developmental editing, and acquisition of, legal practitioner titles. I have also over 7 years’ experience in online multi-channel operational management and strategic development for a broad range of brands, verticals and business models. My work passions include improving book structures, language, and content, driving increased ROI and site interaction, acquiring new and interesting titles, and internal team building and management.
