ABOUT CASSANDRA SKAGGS

Class of 2023 Graduate with my Bachelors in Marketing and my Masters in Business Administration. I am passionate about marketing, advertising, and social media, but will happily take an administrative or management position as well. I have had two internships as a college student that equal up to three years of experience. I am now an employee of WVU Medicine at Ruby Memorial Hospital, working as a recruitment support associate, in the pursuit of becoming a recruiter. I am currently the main Medical Scribe Recruiter for multiple WVU Medicine locations, and am looking forward to moving up the latter here at WVU Medicine. Under this role, I have gained experience in not only recruiting, human relations, administrative assistance, and conflict resolution, but also some marketing and social media skills as well. One of my job duties as the recruitment support associate is to manage our social media accounts. This currently includes Indeed, Facebook, and Instagram. I am looking forward to going deeper into the social media aspect of this position to see where I flourish. Everyone knows that being young, and at the start of your career, it can be very difficult to find someone who wants to take a chance on you. I am a hard working, organized, passionate and resilient worker. I am trying to figure out my strengths in the business world and capitalize on them.
