About Cassie Mohr

I am currently working as a Voter Access Associate for The Wisco Project, a scrappy and innovative organization empowering the college students in Wisconsin to vote in the 2024 general election and Wisconsin State Supreme Court race in April 2025. In the 2024 cycle, I worked as a Campus Organizer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and turned out thousands of college students to vote for Democrats up and down the ballot. Long engaged in youth voter mobilization, I was the President and Co-Founder of Buckeyes for Voting Rights, a nonpartisan student organization at OSU that registers students to vote and fights for the voting rights of Ohio State student voters. Outside of my experience in direct voter contact, I completed a research internship for Policy Matters Ohio, a progressive think tank, a congressional internship for Rep. Marcy Kaptur in Washington, D.C, and an internship for an Ohio county commissioner. Beyond voting rights, I am also passionate about affordable housing, the environment, and public transit.

   Recruited, trained, and organized 52 poll observers for 27 on-campus polling locations for a new poll observer program to ensure the rights of over student voters were protected in Wisconsin Supreme Court race. • Developed and delivered staff trainings and materials about voting rights, election procedures, and deadlines for campus organizers across the state. • Proactively managed and addressed voter access issues and provided solutions to overcome obstacles faced by student voters on over 15 campuses across Wisconsin.
