ABOUT CASSANDRA GONZALEZ
With over a decade of experience in Internal Audit and IT consulting, I bring a unique perspective to data-driven decision-making and enterprise analytics. I began my career as an IT audit consultant at Protiviti, helping organizations strengthen their control environments. From 2020 to January 2024, I led the IT Audit pillar at Axon, where I ensured the integrity of our systems and processes through comprehensive audit programs. In early 2024, I transitioned into my current role as the lead of Axon’s Enterprise Data team, where I spearhead the Analytics Center of Excellence. This role allows me to combine my deep audit background with a passion for data analytics, building and optimizing data platforms that enable cross-functional teams to make informed, strategic decisions. My work includes everything from driving the adoption of Snowflake and Sigma for streamlined reporting to leading initiatives like the Data Liaison Program, bridging gaps between business and data teams. At my core, I am solutions-oriented and dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights. Whether leading the migration of key systems or empowering teams with self-service analytics tools, I remain focused on Axon’s mission to save lives, obsolete the bullet, and reduce gun-related deaths.
