As a TVLP Regional Manager for the Texas Workforce Commission, I lead efforts to connect Veterans with critical resources and tools to support their transition to civilian life. With a strong foundation in administrative leadership, I leverage over 12 years of experience in veterans\' resource coordination to provide impactful peer-to-peer outreach, enabling successful referrals to service organizations, government agencies, and employers. With a demonstrated focus on operational planning and training, I have contributed to assisting over 550 veterans and their families by fostering collaboration across diverse organizations. My mission-driven approach reflects a dedication to empowering veterans and ensuring they access opportunities to thrive within their communities.

   The Texas Veterans Leadership Program is a Texas Workforce Commission resource and referral network connecting returning veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan with the resources and tools they need to lead productive lives and enjoy the full benefits of the society they have willingly served.Veterans Resource Coordinator, Texas Workforce Commission, Round Rock, TX 2014-Present• Provide peer to peer outreach to returning Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who are currently not receiving services as they resume civilian life in Texas.• Assisted over 550 Veterans and family members to date with referrals to Veterans\' Service Organizations, government agencies, and employers.• Represent TWC and the Texas Veterans Leadership Program at community meetings and makes presentations to groups to inform stakeholders of the programs goals.• Network with over 200 Veteran organizations, community partners and employers over an area covering 15 counites.• Coordinate with workforce delivery partners in 2 Workforce Development Boards to support veterans in obtaining needed services to secure employment and leadership opportunities to achieve and sustain economic prosperity.• Maintain an effective working relation with 100 employers in supported areas regarding outreach activities and understanding employer needs in concern to Veteran employment.
