ABOUT CASEY REASON

Casey Reason, Ph.D. is an award-winning author and prominent thought leader, speaker, trainer, instructional designer and coach in the areas of leadership development and peak performance. He’s keynoted numerous major conferences to audiences as large as authored eight books and been featured in many journals and blogs. He’s coached CEOs and school leaders, led C-Suite leadership training and provided high-impact aspiring and new leadership training experiences for numerous Fortune 500 companies. His first book was endorsed by Dr. Ken Blanchard, author of The One Minute Manager. Casey is also a national expert in the implementation of Professional Learning Communities as an approach to leading deep and sustaining, team-driven, collaborative renewal in K12 education. Dr. Reason has authored two books on the PLC concept, including one with concept founder, Dr. Richard DuFour. Casey’s company has facilitated the development of an impressive catalog of hundreds of award-winning digital products, including Grand Canyon University’s inaugural doctoral program in leadership studies and Walden University’s first Masters program in Teacher Leadership. Dr. Reason has led and/or served on design teams all over the world in developing high impact asynchronous and blended training experiences. His unique skill set in blending innovative leadership training and transformative instructional design was featured in an article on Forbes.com after winning the Blackboard International Designer of the Year award. His book Stop Leading Like it’s Yesterday was a finalist for INDIEFAB International Non-Fiction Book of the yea. and his text Leading a Learning Organization was a awarded a book of the year distinction by Phi Delta Kappen International. Dr. Reason also is an award winning professor and has chaired almost 100 dissertations. Casey holds a Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University with a focus on leadership studies and adult learning. He is also a certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Casey lives and healthy, active lifestyle with his family in Scottsdale, Arizona.
