About Casey Fanous

Having recently completed my studies at New York University\'s Tisch School of Arts and Stern School of Business and obtaining a bachelor of fine arts degree in drama with a minor in business of entertainment, media and technology, I am now ready to launch a full-time career in the entertainment/music business or education industry. WHAT DRIVES MEI’ve always wanted to be an actor/singer/songwriter and knew that I would get the best training at NYU Tisch. I had my sights set on an acting career, which is why I majored in drama, but through my business classes, internships, part-time employment, and community work, I developed an equal interest in the business operations aspects of the industry. I also have an enduring passion for teaching and coaching, stemming from my time as a swimming and tennis instructor and team captain while in high school, and expanding to include part-time employment as a musical theatre teacher and a voice/acting coach. I particularly enjoy helping children and young adults develop their talents and feel strongly about the need for children’s accessibility to the arts and diversity representation. Always open to learning new things, I was recently certified as a Meditation Teacher, gaining the skills to teach mindfulness and compassion meditation. I love exploring the intersection between meditation and the arts and how the practice informs the way I show up on a daily basis with a clear mind and full heart. MY CREATIVE & BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTSWhat sets me apart from many performing arts professionals is my ability to balance my creative and business mind. I am incredibly organized and detail-oriented, have strong project-planning and management skills, and quickly build rapport with people of all ages and disciplines to accomplish goals.
