About Casey Childs

I’m a product designer focused on how ideas move from concept to working product.Over the past decade I’ve designed web and mobile products used by millions of people, working across product strategy, interaction design, design systems, and prototyping. I enjoy the messy middle of product development — where problems aren’t fully defined yet and teams are figuring out what the product should actually become.Today I’m a Senior Product Designer at SugarCRM, where I’m exploring how AI tools can change the way product teams design and build software. A lot of my work involves experimenting with new workflows that combine design tools, AI systems, and engineering to move faster from idea → prototype → product.Alongside my full-time work I run Highline Studio, where I help founders and teams design thoughtful digital products — from early product concepts to polished interfaces.I also build my own products.    Founded independent design studio focused on apps, websites, and digital products for startups and small businesses.Designed and launched an iOS app from 0–1 using SwiftUI, demonstrating adaptability to learn new technologies.Led end-to-end design, from discovery through implementation.Applied AI-enhanced design tools (Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate workflows and deliver efficiently.
