Lead the design and implementation of Atlas, a secure, scalable enterprise automation platform using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP 2.5). Atlas was designed to modernize on-prem infrastructure deployment and management while adhering to TSA regulations.In late 2024, I was temporarily reassigned to Colonial’s Cloud Engineering team to support data platform initiatives in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). During this time, I served in a hybrid Solutions Architecture + DevOps Engineering capacity, contributing to secure, automated cloud infrastructure deployment for data analytics and engineering use cases.Key Highlights:Atlas (Ansible Automation Platform 2.5)- Architected an enterprise-grade automation platform based on AAP 2.5- Integrated enterprise security controls including RBAC, TLS encryption, centralized logging with Splunk, and secrets management via HashiCorp Vault- Developed Ansible Playbooks to enable core automation workflows for provisioning, patching, and day-2 operations, allowing Tier-2 engineers to manage routine tasks without Tier-3 intervention- Led cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to streamline processes and reduce time-to-delivery for infrastructure provisioning by over 70%GCP Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps Enablement- Developed Terraform modules (via Terragrunt and JSON-based config ingestion) to deploy GCP services within a secure, Org Policy–driven framework- Authored Cloud Composer 3 deployment module, factoring in Shared VPC design and VPC-SC policies to meet stringent data protection requirements- Supported GitOps workflows using Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines, including tfsec scanning, tf linting, and PR-based deployment approvals- Participated in code reviews and approval processes across a fast-moving, multi-team GCP environment.
