As the Co-Deputy CIO and Executive Vice President-Portfolio Management in the Real Estate group, I have worked on a wide variety of acquisitions, financings, developments, dispositions, and worked in fund-raising and asset management. I\'ve been instrumental in the development and launch of three open-ended commingled funds, large separate accounts and management of a development fund. During my tenue with the firm Boyd has grown from having no assets under management in real estate to now managing nearly $10B. I currently am head of the Chicago office, serve on the Portfolio Management team, Investment Committee, and Macro Committee. Since starting in 2009 as the second employee of the Real Estate Group, I have worked on numerous acquisitions, dispositions, development and debt transactions in various asset classes totaling in excess of $4B. For a large portion of my tenure I was focused on capital markets activities, including secured financings, unsecured revolving lines of credit, unsecured term loans and private placement notes. and managed relationships with lenders and credit rating agencies. I also worked in acquisitions, ran the Asset Management team, and now am focused on portfolio management, oversight of new investments, and on fund-raising.
