About Casey Robinson

I am a small animal veterinarian in the Metro Detroit area. I completed by DVM degree at Iowa State University in 2014. I then completed a 1-year Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship followed by a 1-year Veterinary Ophthalmology internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners. I made the transition to general practice medicine in 2016 but maintain a special interest in ophthalmic disease. I began working as a relief veterinarian in 2021 and have since transitioned to a leadership role at IndeVets. I currently act as Director of Clinical Excellence for Region 3 and directly oversee clinical and non-clinical operations for nearly 100 relief veterinarians. I engage in multiple speaking opportunities and have spoken at MiVetCon, VMX, and AAHA Con to name a few. I hold a special interest in veterinary burnout and mental health within the veterinary profession. I have found my calling in leadership and look forward to growing as a veterinary professional, mentor, practicing clinician, and leader within the industry.
