ABOUT CASEY REIS
I have a passion for organizing and creating, I’m the one in the office who gets excited over a new spreadsheet project or filing system. Being able to take a mess of information and methodically bring it all together in a way that makes sense. I strive to find a systematic approach to projects, to solve the puzzle, and to be the “go-to” person for research and case organization tips. That’s how I bring a piece of me to the team I’m a part of. Currently, I’m proud to be a part of the Robbins Geller team, overseeing every aspect of my cases from service of summons, the filing of the Amended/Consolidated Complaint, through discovery, and into Summary Judgment and Trial, checking every quote, proofreading every document, drafting every subpoena, and logging every piece of discovery along the way. In my position I’m the “final eyes” on pleadings, the hub for all things discovery related, and as I tell the new paralegals I train when they join the firm, it’s my job to know the answer to everything about my cases, or at the very least, where to find the answer. A few key duties:* Motion Practice, Mediation & Trial* E-filing in Federal & State Court* Case Management & Research* Discovery - propounding and responding* New Hire TrainingOn a personal note - I value uniqueness, vulnerability, and true human connection, which sometimes feels lost in today\'s modern society. I love craft projects and make most of my own birthday and Christmas gifts as I love the aspect of creating something new and unique and giving it away to loved ones.
