    The Playground

Aug 2016 — Present · Los Angeles, CA, US

I teach on-camera acting technique for beginning children, advanced children, beginning teens, and advanced teens.Skilled in warm-ups, articulation and diction, improv, slating, audition techniques, filming techniques, script analysis, self esteem building and emotional range building. Experience with handling a class room by myself. Assess students moving through the course of the curriculum.Communication is a vital component in teaching, especially the youth. One must have the ability to shape the same lesson in many forms as each student progresses at a varied pace.Acting is not merely for those who seek it as a profession. The skills these young students learn, leads them to communicate much more effectively in the real world. Looking their parents in the eye, speaking clearly and articulately, and most importantly, going through life with a sense of purpose (or as storytellers might say-the objective).
