ABOUT CASEY HERMAN

I am an experienced Corporate and Not-for-profit Board Member and a retired Senior Partner at PwC with nearly 40 years of experience serving the Energy and Utility Sector, including over 25 years as a Lead Partner for the external audits of multiple Fortune 500 Energy Companies. I led PwC’s US Energy, Utilities and Resources business – including Assurance, Consulting and Tax services - for more than a decade and also led PwC’s relationship with several of our largest consulting clients. I subsequently served as PwC’s first Firm-Wide US Sustainability Leader. I serve on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and as a Trustee and Board Treasurer for the Berkshire School. I’m the former (2-term) Chair of Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Advisory Council and I have previously been a member of the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Wall Street Advisory Group and the advisory boards of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business and the Tulane Energy Institute. I have had the opportunity to speak at industry events for organizations such as EEI, EPRI, GreenBiz, Stanford Director’s College, Financial Executives International, American Gas Association, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners as well as the Staffs of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, International Accounting Standards Board and the Securities and Exchange Commission. I’m a Certified Public Accountant and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, with an emphasis in accounting and economics. I’m a passionate supporter of hunger relief causes, and I have served on the boards of hunger relief charities on the national, regional, and local levels. I currently split time between our homes in Chicago and the Mississippi Gulf Coast with my wife where we and our three children cheer on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks.
