ABOUT CASEY FLUECKIGER
Casey joined Boston University’s Central Financial Aid Office as a Financial Aid Counselor in August of 2025, quickly becoming a valuable team member and an asset to the financial aid office. She leveraged her Bachelors degree in Math and Anthropology and her work as a Student Success Coach for City Year Greater Boston, to learn the why behind the numbers and effectively communicate with students and families. She now works as an Assistant Director of awarding and Counseling, expanding on her initial role through meeting directly with students in addition to improving processes, productivity, and transparency within constantly shifting institutional, state, and federal guidelines. She is grateful to work at the intersection of education, equity, and data-informed strategy in a role that supports students navigating higher education.Casey is also currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Financial Management, focusing on sustainability. With an expected graduation date in 2027 she is eager to start implementing sustainable practices in financial spaces.
