About Casey Anderson

With over 10 years of work experience in the forestry sector, I am a passionate and skilled business leader and event planner. I hold a master\'s degree in Sport Administration from Mississippi State University. As the Executive Director of the Mississippi Forestry Association (MFA), I am committed to advancing the interests of the forestry community and promoting sustainable forest management. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the MFA team and a strong sense of collaboration, innovation, and service. In my current role, I oversee the financial and operational aspects of the MFA and its foundation and the event logistics and partnerships for various MFA and MFF events. I generate financial resources for the organization through corporate and individual sponsorships, grants, and special events, and I develop and monitor the annual budgets for both entities. I also collaborate with the MFA officers and executive committee members to address financial matters and develop budgetary guidelines. Some of the skills I apply daily include business leadership, social media marketing, and event planning.
