About Casandra Dormeus
From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for helping others. Whether it was teaching my peers how to read or helping someone on my dance crew understand a piece of choreography, I found great joy in helping people develop their own understanding. That passion has taken shape through my non-profit work for two years, teaching eighth grade literature and assisting eighth grade students and their families in the private and public high school process. My work has shifted into the corporate space, working in Human Resources as I inform employees about their benefits packages and ensure compliance with I-9s. My work is rooted in care and empathy as I bring a holistic approach with me.I enjoy filling my own cup through dance, reading, and attending spin classes. I am a firm believer that you cannot pour from an empty cup, therefore I nourish myself through engaging in the arts. When I’m not at work, I can be found dancing, watching a theater production, or listening to a Brené Brown podcast.
