I’m proud to be serving as Midlands Co-Chair of KPMG’s Network of Women, a community dedicated to supporting, connecting, and empowering women across the firm.Improving gender equity in the workplace is something I care deeply about, and I’m excited about championing opportunities, strengthening allyship, and helping create an environment where everyone can succeed.

ABOUT CARYS HANSON

Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and University of Birmingham Graduate having achieved a first class honours in BSc Accountancy, I completed this through the School Leaver Programme at KPMG. Currently working for KPMG as a Forensic Accountant, having previously worked in Corporate, Listed and Regulated Audit for 8 years.I am a co-chair of KPMGs Network of Women in the Midlands, working to improve gender equity in the workplace. I sit on KPMGs Pensions Governance Committee, taking an active role in monitoring the performance of colleagues pensions. I am a KPMG UK IDE Ambassador, I am also a member of KPMGs LGBTQ+ Network Breathe ‍ and the Neurodiversity network, where I help organise regional IDSE events.I was previously the Co-Chair of KPMGs Employee Business Forum from 2022-November 2025, being a voice for the Midlands. We are a committee of 15 elected staff members across the UK representing employee views to KPMG senior management and exec.I am very passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility and for 4 years I was part of the UK National Charity Committee and a charity champion at KPMG, working with NSPCC to raise £1.5m to help prevent cruelty to children.
