ABOUT CARYS EVANS ASSOC.
Head of Internal L&D at WSP in the UK. At WSP, I am responsible for the internal L&D offering for our employees across the UK. I lead the internal L&D team of L&D Specialists and Business Partners to design and deliver strategically aligned development programmes for our Leadership communities, technical experts and Support Services teams. I am an advocate for, and specialist in, neurodivergence, and am passionate about how we can ensure in-house L&D is neuroinclusive. I have Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia, and when I studied my CIPD Level 5 in L&D Practice, for my research project, I investigated how well equipped in-house L&D professionals are to design learning interventions which are inclusive of those with dyslexia. This project has inspired me to continue to learn and do more to make learning in the workplace inclusive to all. WSP is dedicated to Inclusion and Diversity, and I am grateful to be working at a company who\'s values align to my own, enabling me to explore the relationship between neurodivergence and in-house L&D further. With over 15 years experience in L&D, I bring to WSP a breadth of experience from across the Hospitality, Voluntary, Travel, Financial Services and Manufacturing sectors. An Associate Member of the CIPD, Member of the Learning and Performance Institute, Strengthscope Practitioner and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. During my career, I have been lucky to win CIPD Wales Awards for my work on Culture and Leadership initatives in Financial Services.
