I lead the internal communication function in Subsea7, a public listed company and a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services in the energy industry. Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the globe, I’m responsible for leading the development and implementation of all global internal communication and employee engagement campaigns for over onshore and offshore colleagues across 33 countries worldwide.

Think of me as someone who views internal communications through a marketing lens. My early years in advertising strongly influence what I enjoy the most about internal communications - it\'s about making a genuine and meaningful connection with audiences through the power of ideas.After many fulfilling years in advertising and brand marketing, I discovered internal communications, and I have loved it ever since. I’ve worked in the UK, Asia-Pacific, and across Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East through my various global communication and marketing roles. Over the years, I’ve led teams who have delivered impactful employee communication and engagement programmes in big organisations in the energy, construction, and transport sectors. I’m always driven to develop internal communications that are effective, compelling, disruptive, human and authentic. Achieving all five qualities all the time? Not always easy. And that keeps me on my toes.
