The Sedalia Ragtime Orchestra is a 12-piece group that plays original arrangements from 18••••17, with occasional forays into modern times. The rags of Scott Joplin, Joseph Lamb, and others are augmented by vintage Tin Pan Alley songs, marches, and waltzes. We play professionally, for private functions, or just for fun. In 2012 we played three festivals, Ragfest in Fullerton, California, the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, Missouri (our namesake), and the Blind Boone Ragtime Festival in Columbia, Missouri.
