After successfully completing his studies in International Economics, he enjoyed a career as a corporate banker on Wall Street and in Los Angeles, He followed his passion for cooking at the age of 44 and mastered the craft of sushi with Makoto Okuwa of Starr Restaurants. In 2010, he and his business partner, Cary Gilbert, opened Casa Mun, the most popular supper club in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In consequence, he opened his second restaurant in the Casarena Winery in Mendoza, Argentina. During this time he developed his expertise and taste for wine in combination with Asian flavors. About MUN Restaurant MUN is a joint venture of Mun Kim, Cary Gilbert and the Dolatre Family of Munich, Germany. Hotel and restaurant Executive Daniel Dolatre has been working in the hotel and catering sector for more than 35 years and is the general manager of the newly-built Hyatt Hotel & Residences in Cartagena, Colombia. His brother, Eric Dolatre, is a founder of GMX, the most successful European email service provider and inventor of its data-based business model. He is active as an Internet entrepreneur and business angel.
