As Project Executive Campus Transformation at NYU Langone Medical Center, Cary is responsible for the implementation of several projects valued in excess of $2 billion. Major components include:The Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion an square foot state-of-the-art building which will focus on inpatient and procedure based care for several of the medical center’s strategic areas including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology and pediatrics. The Energy Building that will relieve the stress on the Medical Center’s energy infrastructure. It will provide reliable primary and emergency electric service to much of the complex and at the same time employ combined heat and power generation technology to produce energy that is cleaner and more economical. Steam for the entire campus will also be generated within the new plant. The Science Building a square foot building, which will focus on medical research in areas including neurosciences, biochemistry and genomics on ten laboratory floors. The remaining floors will facilitate other building resources including food services, lecture spaces and a conference center.
