Craft and collaborate on World Geography lesson plans for class sizes of 24-38 students that provide opportunity for scaffolding and differentiation to build foundational knowledge and skills for awareness of the world along with its history. • Facilitate small groups and create rigorous work activities for 50+ emergent bilinguals in a classroom setting and provide scaffolds to aid in their learning of the English language without additional teaching staff. • Communicate with various community shareholders including parents, staff and other administration using several forms of communication such as phone calls, emails, messaging, and platforms such as Parent Square. • Create and follow a progressive discipline plan, which has led a decline in referrals and an increase in parental involvement in improving student’s behavior as well as outcome. • Analyze over 143 students’ data to predict as well inform student progress in my content area. This data is used with vertical alignment to aid ninth grade students with their progression towards proficiency for their future standardized tests including their United States History State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR).
