   Teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry using a variety of progressive pedagogies for differentiated learners at an all-boys boarding school for sixth through ninth graders. Passionate user of Desmos, Geogebra, Google and Microsoft product suites, and SMARTboard. Designated mentor for the Math Department Chair and the youngest Math department members.~ Design and teach Financial Literacy elective. Students analyze personal, company, and economic information via spreadsheet modeling, discussions and reflections. Students present ideas and then compete against the market and each other in a stock portfolio competition.~ Advise 6-10 students, helping to serve each student’s specific academic, social, emotional, and athletic needs while maintaining information flow between parents, faculty and administration. Design “Home Nights,” where students engage with one another in activities such as cooking, playing board games and interacting with other advisee groups.~ Coach sixth and seventh grade soccer (approx. 114-19 since 2012), recreational snowboarding team, and Varsity/Junior Varsity tennis (approx. 31-6 since 2011). Utilize a variety of interactive and creative techniques while maintaining a focus on growth mindset, fitness, and sportsmanship.~ Served for seven years as a dorm parent for approximately 44 students per year. Taught dorm job, rooming, and study hall responsibilities. Modeled effective proctoring for ninth grade dorm proctors.~ Coordinate Saturday Morning Activities program. Organize and distribute a variety of service-oriented learning opportunities across 200+ students and 20+ on duty faculty members each weekend.~ Lead a dining hall table for 19 weekly meals, co-coordinate Country Fair and Talent Show, organize social events with neighboring all-girls school, lead student rock bands (design and provide headphone-based studio and curriculum for students).~ Create and support dozens of digital solutions for various school needs.
