About Carter Lehman
As a future graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a minor in sport management and sport sales, I have become a skilled marketer who can relate marketing theories to the sports industry. Projects I’ve completed in the fields of business communications and principles of selling have prepared me for a role in a business environment. Working as a customer service associate at Sterling Theater has given me strong communication skills, which I can use to collaborate with coworkers and customers. My position as a marketing consultant with Habitat for Humanity helped me gain experience collaborating with a team, analyzing marketing strategies, and presenting dynamic presentations. Lastly, my internship with the Quad Cities River Bandits and my volunteer experience at the March Madness tournament and the Des Moines St. Patrick’s Day Marathon taught me how to organize and prepare for events in the sports industry. My goal for the future is to be a meaningful member of a sports organization\'s inside sales program or marketing team.
