ABOUT CARTER WARREN
My name is Carter Warren, and I am a Purdue Motorsports Engineering student with hands-on race experience, ranging from karting programs to Aston Martin, McLaren, and Porsche GT4 cars. Job wise, I am a founder of a student led racing team competing in multiple karting series and expanding toward spec E46, as well as a future fabrication division, developing extremely high quality titanium performance parts for specific vehicles. I have also recently finished an internship with ProSport Competiton, where I was able to further refine my fabrication and mechanical skills. Project wise, from a young age I have been interested in vehicles and motorsports. This has led me to building many engines, defining my fabrication skills. Furthermore, I have custom tuned ECU\'s for vehicles I have built, to learn about the software side of vehicle performance and manufacturing. School wise, I am currently active in Purdue\'s VIP program, developing CFD simulations for drafting and overtaking evaluations through post processing and presentation of analysis. Furthermore, I am involved in Purdue\'s Motorsports Engineering club at Dallara through autocross vehicle work, as well as Purdue\'s Automotive Restoration Repair Club. Looking to the future, I am focused on vehicle dynamics, race operations, and powertrain development, with the long-term goal of getting post-graduate degrees in Motorsports Engineering and Business, as well as working in the highest levels of motorsports using fabrication and design skills.
