ABOUT CARTER WALDRON

Hello, I am currently in my second year studying Business Administration and Mathematics through the double-degree program at Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo. I am passionate about solving real world problems through strategy, data and decision making and am always looking for a smarter way to get things done.My work experience has been very hands on and I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had. At Rona, I helped customers with decisions involving high-risk products such as power tools, plumbing supplies, doors, windows and building materials, ensuring safe handling. This role taught me how to think and communicate critically in a mid-high pressure atmosphere. At Boston Pizza I learned the importance of keeping a team running behind the scenes as a dishwasher and line cook. Each role sharpened my sense of responsibility and helped me understand how small actions shape big outcomes.Outside of work and school, I played competitive (AA) hockey for 8 years. This experience shaped my mindset when it comes to teamwork, discipline, and resilience. I also built and managed a twitch content platform, where I explored creative tools like OBS and Discord, tracked performance using analytics and learned how to grow a small digital online presence.
