Data Science Student at Mississippi State University and Staff Writer for The Reflector. Current concentration in Marketing and Supply Chain Analytics, as well as a minor in Economics. Eager for any opportunity to learn or gain some experience in Data Science, Marketing/Supply Chain, Public Administration, Statistical Modeling, Economic Development, or any other related fields. I am a hard worker, fast learner, and not afraid to try new things!More about me: I am a Mississippi native with a life-long passion for learning and making the most of each and every day. After earning my high school diploma from the Mississippi School for Math and Science, I enrolled at my current position in the Mississippi State University Data Science program. Since October 2025, I have been working with the student newspaper at MSU, The Reflector. I do my best to implement my passions into what I write, which often includes making data visualizations for my readers. I am never afraid to reach out and conduct interviews whether it\'s with finance professors at my university or local business owners in Starkville. I have received much acclaim for my work, including a 1st place award from the Southeast Journalism Conference in 2026.During my time at MSU I have fallen in love with the Starkville community and do everything within my power to stay involved. I am an active member of multiple clubs both inside and outside of my major. When I am not studying for my classes or preparing for a club event, I like to expand my knowledge on data science in order to stay ahead. To learn as much as I can, I use programs like LinkedIn Learning, DataCamp, and YouTube. I also try to be involved in independent research opportunities through the Shackouls Honors College here at MSU.The kind of data I find the most interesting is economic data, as it is the backbone of both government and business decisions. Decisions like budget allocation, production planning, investments, market entry/exit, production location, and risk management all require economic data to back them up. My dream job is to one day help companies or governments make these types of decisions for the betterment of their citizens, shareholders, or employees.
