On September 12, 1962, President John F. Kennedy delivered my favorite speech of all time. Under the beaming Houston sun, he told all of America that “we choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy but because they are hard. Because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills.\" Throughout my life, I have found that I do my best work when the path to my goal is uncertain and I’m fascinated by problems that humanity doesn\'t have the answers to. I enjoy working hard, thinking big, and I take obstacles in stride. I’m excited to find work that grapples with issues larger than myself and to interact with individuals that only hedge their optimism against the truth.
