Corporate Campus Planning: Organized and directed community engagement and outreach for the master planning of Microsoft’s 90-acre Atlanta Corporate Campus. The project was a unique planning opportunity to engage the community and address the challenges of housing affordability, mobility access, and environmental sustainability. In addition to the central campus, current land use conditions and demographic analysis of the impacted communities laid the basis for community retention strategies.• Land Acquisition and Entitlement: Conduct zoning and land use research to support property acquisitions; analyze suitability for projects based on spatial, socioeconomic, and environmental factors.• Zoning and Land Use Analysis: Spearheaded rezoning efforts for multiple urban and suburban neighborhoods, enabling $400M+ in new development opportunities while maintaining historical integrity.• Project Leadership: Led the adaptive reuse of a grocery store parking lot in a floodplain into an urban farm integrated with a $30M+ affordable housing development.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinated with private landowners, municipal bodies, and development teams to align land acquisition strategies with community needs and organizational objectives.• Risk Mitigation: Analyzed site-specific risks and created strategic recommendations to minimize entitlement and pre-construction challenges.
