ABOUT CARSTEN DIETZE
Being open minded and interested in new ideas, technologies and challenges are key factors that can change products to be successful for their users, the customers and therefore for a business. Working a couple of years in the automotive industry taught me how to benefit from agile approaches like Scrum in order enhance and extend products as well as how to combine the faster digital approaches with the traditional ones in the automotive domain. After focusing on mobile apps in the automotive area a couple of years ago I widened my perspective on how and where technology can improve the user experience for automotive products. My background in Computer Science and Software Development helps me alot to stay in touch with the latest technology that can really upgrade existing products for a better user experience. Besides the common iOS and Android platforms, projects I worked on made use of CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink as well as Web-App technologies in order to achieve an integrated product. Besides all this tech-oriented aspects I have the ability to reach out and cooperate with people as this is the fundamental precondition in order to be successful. Once you have a real team with expertise in place customer focus and the usage of a fitting technologie can make you very productive. Bringing “The Digital” into the world of bigger companies like in the automotive industry is very challenging but also extremely promising - that’s what I’m passionate for.
