We invest in, operate and advise early stage start-ups, with a focus on industrial sciences innovation.Hard sciences entrepreneurs are underserved by the investor community. Diligencing scientific innovation (and IP) is complicated and the commercial outlook is often obscured by the secrecy and complexity of large industrial value chains.We specialize in partnering with scientific founders. We are entrepreneurs first, venture capitalists second. Even before making an investment, we work with founders to build out their business case, using our industry network and business development expertise to fill in gaps. When we invest, we usually become a member of the management team, driving adoption by industry and developing strategic opportunities for expansion and exit.

ABOUT CARSTEN BOERS
I am an entrepreneur and investor. I started my career in strategy consulting and then co-founded the western world\'s first mobile marketing company, Flytxt, in London at 24 years of age. After selling Flytxt in 2007, I started investing in start-ups and advising and coaching entrepreneurs, as well as supporting institutional investors in transactions. My investment activity and work is focused on bringing breakthrough science innovation to commercial success. I love the fast and intimate world of start-ups and am passionate about building and working with great teams. I am always looking for investment opportunities and early stage businesses that can benefit from my experience.
