I am a communication-driven ambivert who loves community building, the environment, and intercultural exchange. I have a degree in fine arts but my greatest passion is the \'art\' of connecting with people. I have 5 years of experience facilitating cross-cultural exchange and ESL education in rural Japan with the JET Program - where I developed a limited working proficiency in Japanese - and an additional 8.5 years of experience driving impact in the nonprofit ecosystem. I thrive in a diverse, mission-oriented environment where I can positively impact people and communities. Four words that describe me are authentic, compassionate, creative, and sensitive to detail. I identify with the words community builder, teacher, environmentalist, ocean-protector, outdoor-lover, sister, daughter, runner, diver, world traveler, artist, writer.
